After many years in Africa Tess displays and sells her unique collection of exciting objects and jewelry from around the world. Each object is collected with strong feeling.
Tess now also designs jewelery and other objects. She has received inspiration from her many travels around the world, but above all from having lived for many years with the Wodaabe and Tuareg, nomads in the Sahel, the "shore of the Sahara" in West Africa.
In the desert city of Agadez in Niger, Tess converted two traditional-style sun-dried brick mud houses into hotels. She decorated with fantastic colors, embellishments and symbols inspired by the people of the desert and other parts of Niger, Burkina Faso and Mali.
Tess's curiosity about people from different cultures and their lifestyles and art was sparked when she inherited her grandfather's collection of objects from South America.
In recent years, she has lived in Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso.
